Today we mourn the death of a beloved friend...
Our Chritmas tree just looked so sad lying at the end of our driveway, on its side, in the pouring rain, so flimsy and pathetic. I almost felt a tear welling up when I looked at it.
...and then I was plagued with uncontrollable laughter as scurried inside to get my camera.

It is supposed to be a new one tonight. This show is my mom and I's guilty pleasure. It is so silly that it is fun to watch.
Every time my mom sees a poncho in the store she's like, "Who does that remind you of, Jenn?"
Betty! and her giant ugly Guadalaja poncho that she wore on her first day of work to a fashion magazine. ha ha.
And Betty (America Ferrera) is so pretty in real life...
This week I got a letter from Spain! The family I stayed with sent me a really sweet card and note and it made me so nostalgic. Espana, te echo de menos!!!
and now I feel like I jerk. I only wrote Maria Carmen once and now she's sent me two things. I remember trying to have a pen pal when I was a kid and I'd always forget, or not feel like writing. And now it's happening all over again, 10 years later.
